Here's one spicy hot Mexican Restaurant that we bet you didn't know about! It's The Alamo in Milford Massachusetts!
The Alamo is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Central/Eastern Massachusetts. Before we get into the food, how about an interesting fact? The owner of The Alamo restaurant has a very famous son...who was on the hit TV sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle". There are pictures of the son posing with famous people all over the entrace to the restaurant. Pretty cool!
The restaurant is situated in an actual house converted to a restaurant. The bar is upstairs and the dining room(s) downstairs. The walls have murals on them that are painted to look like scenes from the Alamo. The lighting is usally low key and intimate.
The food at the Alamo is great. It's mainly a Tex-Mex menu and there are plenty of options. Baskets of tortillas (they are good!) and spicy salsa are given when you first sit down. Their soda comes in gigantic cups, and if you order something spicy you will be glad. I'm a huge fan of the beef and carrot tacos - awesome taste and a really affordable price.
The Margaritas are awesome here. They make a bunch of different types, however we recommend that you try out the Strawberry Margarita which is made with real blended strawberries.
To sum it up, The Alamo is one hot and spicy Mexican restaurant and you better go check it out!
