Like to see bands and individual performers in a intimate setting? Then check out the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton Massachusetts!

The Iron Horse Music Hall is an excellent place to see "quieter" bands and singer/songwriters. The music hall is owned by the same people that own The Pearl Street Night Club in Northampton. The two venues are actually only a short walk apart. The venue is also a short walk to many fabulous restaurants and a few hotels. Pearl Street is the large "rock" venue while the Iron Horse is the smaller, more intimate performance type of place.

The inside has two levels, kind of setup theatre style. For the show I went to, only the downstairs was open. The sound was good. The chairs weren't the most comfortable, but at least there was chairs. You can get drinks inside. All seats give a great view of the stage. This is no arena - the seats are right up next to the stage. This is the place to go if you want to be right next to your favorite band.
