In the mood for comfort food? Want to get a lot to eat for a price that can't be beat? You have to check out Brian's in Linwood Massachusetts!
Brian's Restaurant serves up great American Cuisine in Linwood Massachusetts. I bet you didn't even know that Linwood MA existed? The town neighbors Whitinsville MA and is on the road to Northbridge.
One way you can tell that this is a great restaurant is the fact that the parking lot is jammed packed on a Friday night. For about two months we tried to go (we made two attempts) and found no parking either of the nights. Finally we decided to go earlier in the day and we got in. Ever since then this is a hot spot favorite.
So here's the deal. Go into Brian's for lunch. Order something from the lunch menu, such as our favorite, Shephard's pie or maybe homemade mac and cheese. First, you get a salad with your choice of dressing. They bring the salad out olive garden style - it's in a big bowl and you take your own serving out and put it into your salad dish. The house Italian is very good. Then you get to go up to the Soup and Bread bar. At the soup bar, they have crusty white bread that you can slice yourself. There's a bowl of packaged crackers you can pick from. There's a metal vat of pickled beets. There's a homemade soup and bowls, and a vat of big noodles with sauce.
Sounds good so far right? We are just at the included appetizers!!! Next you get your meal, which is usally a very large portion. Sounds expensive right? For all of this.... soup and bread bar, salad, huge meal...... under $7 a person whenever we go. Hot Restaurant!!!
